Once a year GW and I like to head down to D.C. to check out the Smithsonian Museums. This time the trip was especially nice since we didn't have an agenda of THINGS WE HAD TO SEE, so we could just leisurely prowl the galleries. First stop on this trip was the National Gallery.
I still catch myself when I go to snap a photo in a museum. I worked in the museum world for 14 years as a director of exhibits, and I kind of freak myself out when I shoot in a gallery since it was banned for so many years.
