The Wood Duck Story

H. and I found this little guy on our walk. He was FRANTIC.... running back and forth...on our access road. H. picked him up and we walked a mile to a retention pond, set him down... and oh no, he looks nothing like the Canada Geese babies....he is not a goose. Picked him back up and drove him to Tri-State Bird Rescue, where he is now safe and sound and enjoying life. Turns out he is a Wood Duck!
