So whilst on the trip to Orlando we'd planned to celebrate our anniversary by doing something we've both wanted to experience for years and years---swimming with dolphins. A couple of years ago when we were kayaking in the ocean off of Lewes, Delaware we kayaked into a pod of dolphins (which we now understand was illegal for us to have done.) Skimming along the water along side that pod of Atlantic Bottlenose was a pretty emotional experience and to get the chance to swim in the water with them seemed out of reach. (OK, for a lot less money if we'd just tipped over in our kayaks I guess we could say we'd done it and could have saved ourselves a lot of money....) anyway, we heard about Discovery Cove and that it was set-up for people to interact with dolphins. So, about 8 months ago I signed us each up for their trainer for the day package. There's more to tell, but it will have to wait til tomorrow, so come on back for the rest of the story.
