After Dallas died in April, we decided we wouldn't buy another horse and instead I would share Doc with Gerry. So I hauled out the English tack and spent some time finding the right combination of bit and saddle that would work the best. Sadly, my beautiful and $$ Miklem bridles don't work for Doc, nor does my even $$$$$ Custom Saddlery Star Icon saddle. Nope, what fits him best is my ancient Wintec dressage saddle. But, the only thing that matters is Doc is comfortable and happy and despite his ears saying otherwise, this combination seems to suit him just fine.
