I started needle felting in 2016 when I was recovering from surgery on my foot. I was three months recovering, with one month being non weight-bearing. And this seemed like a good craft that I could do while chair bound. My first project was a fox from a kit, next I went big, and tried to do one of Dallas, my horse. I've only done one more, and I finished that last week as a gift for my friend Mary who was born in the year of the rabbit.
I have to say this was my best effort. I didn't work from a pattern, just downloaded some photos of rabbits to use as reference. I did buy some glass eyes from Amazon for it, but I added a tiny white high light to each one.
