So the poor little domesticated rabbit that some creep dumped in our yard has been on the loose for several weeks now. And it was breaking my heart. He doesn't have the skills to be in the wild. Gerry and I have been trying to find him a home, and we found one last week. A friend of Gerry's from work keeps pet rabbits and he came over with his two daughters to pick him up. The bun has already been to see the vet and we learned he is a male, in excellent health, and he has been named: Hobo Joe! The last photo is Hobo Joe in his new hutch. A wildlife story that ended well!
