Cleaning out Gerry's parent's house has been very bittersweet- Painful for this chapter to be ending, and sweet because it has brought back some good memories for both of us. It's the home Gerry grew up in and where I first met his parents.
And it's been very hard physical work. They have lived in the house since 1963 and I don't think they ever threw anything out, ever.
