A Christmas unlike any other

My sister Susan will not be coming home for Christmas this year. Covid. When we moved to Delaware Susan was at Northwestern and she only came home at Christmas. Every Christmas. When my mom died Susan came and stayed with us. I don't think it is going to feel like Christmas without her here.

When the Pandemic began in March we began to talk every day and those daily talks have become an important part of my life. I like knowing that she is OK. Over the holidays we plan to do some Zoom talks with our sister Ann in Denver and that will be nice.

But it just isn't the same.
