Schnicken

So the big deal this year is that for the first time in 25 years I made Schnicken. This is a German yeast roll filled with pecans, brown sugar, raisins and coconut. This was my grandmother's recipe and it takes forever because it has to rise twice. But so worth it. 

Damn, when was the last time I used a rolling pin??????
