I freely admit I have a vested interested in this movie because my niece Susan Burke wrote and stars in it, as does her wonderful husband Matt Peters (you may recognize him from Orange is the New Black.)
They visited not long ago and I got to meet their darling new baby and spend time with them - you've no idea how wonderful that is for me, and so rare, all but one of my family members lives from the Rockies and westward, so I don't get to see them very often. Thank goodness Gerry's family is in this area or we'd have no family around at all.
So pour the wine, grab the bowl of popcorn and rent Southbound!
