When people see my jewelry for the first time, they nearly always ask we why I don't sell my work.
Oh my.
That's all I did for a number of years. At one point I was in 21 stores in three states and nearly every weekend 'round the holidays I was at craft shows.
And it got very old, very fast.
When I was doing all that humping of merch up and down the East Coast, the internet was in its infancy and Etsy was just Easy misspelled.
The joy of creating got lost.
So I stopped.
I still love my time in my studio and a day rarely go by when I'm not in there at least for a few minutes. Like the barn, it's a place that always makes me happy.
Maybe someday I'll start selling my jewelry again, then again, maybe not.
