Something you don't see everyday...

Gerry is not a car guy, he likes driving them but that's it. When we were dating his car broke down on the exit ramp to the mall.

And we just sat there.

Being the daughter of a man who fixed everything (usually not pretty, but Dad got everything "working.") I didn't understand why he wasn't getting out of the car, lifting the hood and fixing whatever the problem was. And I told him so.

Yikes, did I ever hit a male ego nerve!!!! Gerry stomped out of the car, raised the hood, then immediately slammed it, and sat back in the car and said "Are you satisfied???"

So, it was utter shock that I looked out the window and saw this...Gerry tinkering with Little Red, our Miata!

And the point of his tinkering? Why to make it go faster!
