Before and After

Admittedly this little make-over isn't going to pave my way into before and after glory, but it's a project that s been on my to do list a long time, and thanks to all the winter weather (which means no riding, and sometimes an extra day off from work) I finally had time to sand and stain this lovely cutlery holder.

It was made for me by L.C.'s dad- who sadly just passed away on December 18, 2013. I was very honored that L.C. asked me to give the eulogy at his funeral. So, I thought it most fitting that now was the right time to honor his workmanship by refinishing this piece.

Rest in peace Lou, you were a fine man and I'm honored to have known you.
