Frugal Friday

A friend gave me this coat- except it didn't look like this when she gave it to me. It was very long-even on 5'9" me!  So I asked my SIL to shorten it, then I removed the shoulder pads, and viola, a lovely dark charcoal wool car coat was born! (BTW, in the background is the new AirStone brick we had installed back in November along with the new Trex deck- huge improvements to the look of the back of our home!)

    Love the coat, and the tale of the origins of the coat! Looks great on you and it appears that Bode is giving his seal of approval.

    Also just loved the photo of that golden goddess, Bella, refreshing herself in the sun!
