We have been visiting Chincotegue and Assateague since before we were married, if fact camping there was our very first trip together in something like 1976 or 77. Yikes, that's a long time ago. And we've been back almost every year since. For about 10 years we took the kayaks (until we sold them three years ago.) Now we taking binoculars and our spotting scope. (I used to lug all my camera bodies and telephoto lens too, now I just take my iPhone : )
This year we looked at wildlife, swam in the ocean, tanned on the beach and we took our mountain bikes (see, I do ride something other than a horse!)
