Who knew buying the correct broom was so hard? This weekend we bought a new broom at Home Depot. There were about 8 to choose from. I knew I wanted a nice old fashined broom - no nylon plastic broom for me. That narrowed the choice down to two. One had a much larger sweep area, and knowing that bigger is always better, that's the one we brought. We had the inaugeral sweeping tonight..... Argh! The silly thing barely swept up anything .... giant dust bunnies remained untouched.....That's because we bought an outdoor broom. Outdoor broom? On closer inspection it was revealed that the broom we bought has fewer and very loose bristles where as a "house broom" has very tightly bound corn bristles. So ends todays lecture : )
