Landcruise
So after we left the tack shop we cruised another 45 minutes northwest, through some lovely rolling countryside, until we arrived in East Earl where we had lunch at Shady Maple. Now, Shady Maple is an odd place. It is this HUGE restaurant, shopping complex and market stuck out in the middle of farmland. And people come from all over to eat there. It opens at 5 am every morning. It's an inexpensive smorgasbord. Think cruise ship dinning gotten landlocked. That day one of their offerings was fried shrimp and Gerry and I both really made little pigs of ourselves on just that. Completelyy stuffed we wallowed our way back home.
