Avian Oddities

So listen to this, I’m at the barn talking with my trainer and the barn owner and suddenly a bird swoops between us at eye level.

Next, its 7 o’clock that night and I’m cooking in the kitchen. Knock on the door, my sister-in-law (bless her!) has finished the drapes for my living room. She tells me that earlier that day she’d been walking her dog on the sidewalk in her development when they came upon two turkey vultures- who refused to move out of her way.

An hour later I’m alone in my kitchen, still cooking, when suddenly for the first time in 27 years of living in my home, I hear, hoo, hoo, hoo.

Just coincidence?
