Doc got Easyboots to wear when he and Gerry go out on the trail. Aren't they spiffy? They are the Easyboot Epics in size 00 with gaiters. Soooo much better than horese shoes. He loves them. Why in the world would you put a nail into a living being when you can outfit them with boots?
