New Artwork

I've been in my studio very briefly over the last few months. When the weather is good outside and we have long daylight hours I'm down at the barn as much as possible. It's during the cold, dark winter months when I get to spend serious time making art. That said, I do have some new pieces to show off. The first one is a brooch that I created for a dear friend in Japan, it's a narrative piece, but I didn't send a story along with it, so she wrote one - that was so cool of her to do! She's an awesome author, artist and I really miss her.

Sorry about the poor quality photography- I've yet to master he art of macro photography with my cell phone.
