Well, not actually---just figuratively. I Just need to finish up blogging about our Discovery Cover experience. So Ger and I got maximum time with the dolphins, about 3 hours in all. We "rode" them (for lack of a better way to explain this) by hanging on to their flippers as they zipped us around. The final encounter was when they brought 2, 700 pound males over, the trainers then had us lay face down, legs straight. A dolphin came up behind, and as soon as they pressed their noses to the bottom of your feet they took off, propelling you through the water. Gerry did especially well at this as he was able to arch his back up so high he looked like a ship cutting through the water.
It was a once in a lifetime experience that neither of us will ever forget.
