Snowed in....

We are both home from work, snowed in, so we slept in a little (hey, we've got two labs- no way they'll let us really sleep in.) Then we clambered into our outdoor gear and before breakfast we tackled the snow- Gerry doing most of the work- this time the white stuff is heavy and wet. Then back in the house, shed our sopping wet clothes and had a yummy breakfast of pecan pancakes (I love my cast iron frying pan-it makes everything taste better.). Then Ger retired to his computer for a marathon of Lord of the Rings and I went to my studio, where I'm working a new series of equine themed brooches. Later on, I'll get the 2009 taxes out of the way and if I'm lucky get to spend some time just lazing around and reading. Yeah, I like these snow days!
