Years ago when I worked at the Museum I would frequently have lunch across the street at Winterthur. I've never forgotten how magical their wisteria looked in bloom.

A couple of years ago we planted our very own wisteria  in the backyard garden, and this year it really took off and came into its own. It doesn't last very long, but I treasure it the few days that I can enjoy it.
