A billion years ago my BFF and her then husband gave Gerry and me this howling wolf statue.
Years later (like last month) I was purging the house for the 17th time (I'm the opposite of a hoarder-not sure what that's called, but I'm it) and I almost put the Wolf in the Goodwill pile- but I felt badly about doing that- while wolfie was never really our style, it was meaningful because of who gave it to us.
Then inspiration hit, we've been spraying painting a lot of stuff lately and we'd been using a really nice gold color- let's spray the wolf gold says darling husband, and so the wolf was reborn in gleaming gold and now howls out our front window at all the yahoos from the library who leave their car head lights on and blind us every night- ah, but that's a story for another day.
So happy to see another post. The new version of the statue is interesting. It looks like a dolphin-wolf hybrid mix to me, and I bet it would look nice as a statue in your water garden.
