Saturday Siesta

I had a dressage lesson on Saturday (a great one I might add - 2 major breakthroughs!)  But something wasn't right. Pepper and Blue John were laying almost side by side (!)  asleep (I hoped!) in the warm sun.

They were down like this for about 15 minutes from when I first spotted them. Then, finally, Pepper clambered up to his feet, Blue John caught a few more zzzzz's then he was up to. Smart boys- they took advantage of a nearly perfect day, Sunday we finally got the rain we've been needing so badly.
